Description
A rare and snow storm building above and around the St. George Temple teaches that sometimes the storms of life start off with little effects but can lead to bigger and life changing effects. Weeks before I got to St. George a deep freeze set in over a few days ultimately freezing and essentially killing the palm trees that grew on the temple grounds. As I walked the grounds the snow eventually started to fall and I began to think about the storms in our lives. Some storms are small leading to no damage at all. But if we are not prepared a big storm can truly change the course of our spiritual lives. The Temple creates and prepares us for those storms and gives refuge from the elements and the cold.
